Manuscript Evaluation
I’ll read your manuscript and provide big-picture feedback on your story’s plot, structure, pacing, and character arcs in an editorial letter. I will not make any changes, but I will make in-line comments. (Transparency: Realistically, I might sneak in a reader reaction a time or two.)
Developmental Editing
I’ll evaluate your overall story from afar, focusing on the big picture. I’ll evaluate things like narrative structure, plot, pacing, characterization, voice, and point of view. I’ll examine craft elements such as your narrative drive, cause-and-effect trajectory, info dumps, showing versus telling, and worldbuilding.
Line Editing
It includes analyzing writing on a sentence level. I’ll check for elements like word choice, tone, style, sentence and paragraph organization, and clarity.
It involves improving readability by correcting errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic formatting.
Copy Editing
Beta Reading
The goal is to read the full manuscript and check for any errors that might have been missed during the editing process.

Each service includes 1 pass and 1 revision of up to 5,000 words.
For a revision of the whole project, I charge half of the original editing quote.
